If yes- the alternator or voltage regulator is bad. The regulator I believe comes with a new alternator or can be replaced separately. If no- your reading shows a good 14+v at the alternator but 11.8v at the battery then you have a bad connection between the alternator output and the battery.
Check the voltage at the battery with a meter. Car off 12.5+ battery is OK. Anything less than 12V resting is a dead battery. Car running charging around 13.5 to 14.4 alternator OK. AGM can be slightly lower charge voltages. Side note, how did you get the voltage displayed in the dash? if the battery age is approaching 5 years on an AGM, replace.
Most electrical problems can be easily fixed by checking the following: The location of the fuse box on a BMW. Most BMWs have the fuse box located in the glove box compartment. Older BMWs have it in the trunk near the battery, so check both these locations. Check for bad fuses by taking them out one by one.
Poor Mileage. The fuel economy of a car will get severely impacted by a choking throttle body. The ideal way of measuring the mileage is the full tank-to-full tank method. You first put a full tank of fuel, make a note of the odometer readings or set one of the trip meters to zero and then travel a few hundred kilomet The JBE is the central data interface in the vehicle (gateway for the buses). The JBE is a component of the junction box. The junction box is an assembly consisting of the junction box electronics and front distribution box. The front distribution box and JBE can not be replaced individually.
