2018 KTM 125 SX crankshaft life. Hello, Guys. I am needing some advice on when to change the crank in my son’s bike. We have 99 hours on it and it’s due for the second top-end. He is a good novice rider and the bike has been very well maintained. We don’t ride sand-tracks, but mostly hard-pack or loam. Everything has held up impressively
I have a 2003 ktm 125 sx and it keeps fouling plugs like crazy! they only last about 5 hours and I am running the NGK iridium pugs in it. I have tried leaning it out and that didnt work it even got hot from me leaning it out just a little. It was burning crank case oil, but it is no long burning it since i richened it up a little.
